Bio

The Legend of Unwrittenlaw Begins in a time not so long ago in a mystical land called Poway California. Scott, Robb, Steve, and Wade were some kick ass partiers and skaters from SanDiego, just livin the life of every punk. They all met in a continuation school (Abraxas?) and got toghether for some practices. Wade, the drummer gave the band power. He promoted the band, and really inspired the other members to pull toghether. The raw sense of excitement this band created was sensed instantly from the lucky crowds at local shows. The group started to develop an incredible sound of power. Unwritten Law (UL) was able to show strength, edge, but control. Their chords were smooth, and their lyrics inspiring and true. Afters some years of playing and going through 16 different members they had the band only adding an additional guitarist Steve Morris. Unwrittenlaw released their first albulm "Blue Room" in 1994, named after Russo's home where they practiced. In 1995 the surf-punk rockers toured off. They signed a deal with Epic, and Re-released "Blue Room" with some added songs. In 1996-97 UnwrittenLaw released a few more records, Lame","Oz Factor","Superman", and "Denied". They than released "Hollyweired" in 1997, and Their self titled album in 1998. With growing support, UL has become one of the top Punk bands to ever play. They have grown and toured with another SanDiego band, Blink182. Unwritten Law has come a long way from playing their local shows, but their love for Poway and SanDiego still rings true. Now UL is able to sell a out stadiums almost anywhere in the country. Unwrittenlaw displays perfectly the fun, party atmosphere, as well as the Live hard Die young spirit of SD kids. They are Legends.
